This blog is going to chronicle the year I am spending without my wife.
She received a fantastic job opportunity, which happened to be out of state, and it was too good to turn down. The job is a temporary position, within her current company, and therefore she will be back in one year. The job is going to be good for her career and we, as a family, should be better off in the long run because of it.
So while she is off meeting new people, seeing new things, and being kept busy with a new job, I am stuck here alone doing the same old thing. Only, did I mention the alone part? Basically we decided that I needed something to do, something so I wouldn’t just sit around and do nothing all day long. And that’s essentially how this blog was born.
Hopefully this blog will give me something to do when I’m sitting at home being bored out of my mind. I’m armed with a small video recorder and an Internet connection. Let’s hope this works.
