The wife and I made the quick trip to North Carolina for a little skiing. The Cataloochee Ski Area is one of the closest mountains to us so we decided to make a day trip to see if it was any good.

This is my first attempt at creating a wound from scratch. I watched fumsmusings channel and she has a lot of great tutorials. For my first attempt I don’t think it was all that bad, especially the second try where I pulled up some of the “skin” to make the bite look more real, like some of my flesh had been removed during the attack.

Joe Manganiello talks during the 2011 True Blood panel at DragonCon about being bullied as a child and crying because of it. Apparently even big guys get picked on. Why can’t we all just get along?

What is your accidental gay experience? Did you have an innocent night out with your buddies and somehow got gayed? Does it make you gay if you liked it but you both promised never to tell? Being gayed can cause embarrassment for all parties involved. But speaking of parties, witnessing lewd gay acts doesn’t have to be gross. In fact, most college age chicks can be encouraged to explore their same sex desires and when that happens, it is beautiful. Go Boobs!

Our own private show! Live at Dragon*Con 2010: As Voltaire walked by me on the way to the stage I yelled “The Man Upstairs” and he was nice enough to come over and play a few chords. Voltaire is always in good form and definitely pleases the crowd.

For some reason I keep a lot of junk around. I don’t want to part with it even though during the course of a normal day I don’t even look at the stuff. Hopefully I really can start getting rid of some clutter.

I got early access to Pottermore.com today!
After chasing / finding the magical quill I was a bit let down by what I found inside. Guess I have to wait a bit longer to get some type of email that contains the “real bits” link.
But I’m glad the world of Harry Potter isn’t dying.

This rabbit, which I like to call Bunny, can be frequently seen in our yard. I try to leave some weeds for it and not mow everything all at once so that our yard is more appealing.
